Welcome to Just Grand! – There are a few things that are quintessentially British, traditional tea drinking, home baking, good old fashioned service, a warm welcome and family ideals are among them.

Giving you a little touch of nostalgia, we are located in the middle of a beautiful Victorian Arcade, Leeds City Centre.  The Grand Arcade was built in 1897 and has three seperate glass door entrances.  Access is a few steps up from the Grand Theatre and for a truly unique vintage experience we accompany vintage crockery and cutlery complimented by the most scrumptious baked goods! 

We pour Black, Green, Herbal or White in the best quality loose leaf tea, housing 25+ flavours; or sip a trusted Yorkshire tea whilst eating freshly baked cakes, speciality scones and unique afternoon tea options every day! We love to cater for most dietary requirements, including vegan, gluten/dairy free and halal – we require at least 24 hours notice to prepare.

Vintage themed private hire events are especially popular, any day or night, subject to availability.  Occasionally, throughout the year we showcase Evenings  – Hen&Stag Do’s, Life Drawing Classes, Pre-Theatre Parties, Psychic Readers,  Wedding Receptions and Christmas Entertainment  – please see our Facebook, Google or Instagram posts.

Should you wish to taste our unique Afteroon Teas we would encourage that you book in advance by email.  You will be required to pay an upfront £5 per person security deposit (deducted from the bill on the day) to secure the food and table(s), this is non-refundable and transferable only.  The Tearoom is busy baking and serving customers therefore telephone bookings are not recommended.

Please use the bookings button or email: [email protected] to request your date, time and party size.  We suggest you give plenty of notice as weekends are the busiest and we wouldn’t you to miss out!  Sundays are mostly private and reservations are subject to Afternoon Tea only.

Lastly, due to the cost of living we have recently increased our prices.  Also in-keeping with inflation the weekends carry a 10% service charge together with bookings for eight(8) people or more, this boosts staff morale and tips.  We look forward to serving you soon!
